Rocky ledges & small, sometimes sodded, terraces s. facing at ca. 12,350' just below E. end of southern cliffs' high at this point, of 13,568' Mt. Goddard (Mt. Goddard Quad); This little Luzula on moist terrace at foot of a rock wall.

Trimmer Springs Rd. n. of Belmont Ave. & ca. 3/10 m. sw. of Friant-Kern Canal crossing; road parallels the Kings River.

Collected on Highway 14, one mile north of the northern end of Red Rock Canyon, in the Sagebrush scrub community.

About 1 1/2 miles southeast of Furnace Creek Inn, Death Valley National Monument.

Island Twin L., n. of 9600' sect. Kaiser Ridge, 1 m. w-nw Potter Pass, 1 1/2 m. e. 10,300' Kaiser Pk.; in mead at n.e. corner lake and comes down to shore and even up on limestone.

Collected next to Highway 41 in a draw, in the northwest part of kern County.
