Sandy open on mountain side near Cressman store about 2 miles from Pine Ridge road station.

Found 1 mile south of Kaweah Lake Dam at Dry Creek.

Approx. 71 km east of Fresno, on the summit of Spanish Mtn., John Muir Wilderness, Sierra National Forest, T 12 S, R 28 E, S 2, SW 1/4, 2995 m.

Located in Lost Lake Park on the sandy beach in the southeast corner of the lake. plant community is lakeside at 325 ft. in moist sand. Associated species are Scirpus acutus, Matricaria Matricariodes, Salix sp., Plantago lanceolata and Cynaodon dactylon.

Kaiser Pass on extension of Hiway 168 - Jeep tracks up ridge to rt. to point where Dave L. trail takes off to rt. - small meadow below trail, up stream 100 yds. to point where rill still running some water this date; Polygonum along the rill.

NE-SW section, Hilgard Branch, 9700' (trib. to Bear Crk), 2 mi. W Mt. Hilgard (13,351'). Lodgepole Forest along stream and on N side the large meadow; Lodgepole with some Junipers and P. monticola up N slope to Subalpine Forest, S slope ledges bear Lodgep

Collected on the cliff top above Frenchman's Reef. on treeless flat. Erect and in scattered groups of individuals, Associated with Brassica sp. and Malva sp.

It was found in a field south of the tents near Sagehen Project Camp, in the moist soil near the creek.

Tioga Pass Transect. From Mt. Dana (s.) to Gaylor Lakes (n.) Dana Meadows, 50 yards east of the Tioga Pass Ranger Station, 3 miles northwest of Mt. Dana (13,050).

South slope of Sherwin Pass, Sage Vrush Association in the lave flow country.

This common herb was collected on the south shore of red lake in Carson pass. The location was a Lodgepole pine forest at 8100 feet elevation. The specimen was growing in volcanic soil and displayed a pink flower color. Associated with: Sambucus Racemosa,

Highway 180, 5.6 miles south of Dunlap turnoff. Elevation about 1800 feet.

Collected ten miles southeast of Dunlap, California, on road to Miramonte. Mound growing in thick humans prostrate to a certain degree on surrounding grass.

Graveyard Lakes, 1 1/2 m. glaciated basin, s.e. flank Silver Divide 600-1000' above Cold Crk.; 5 1/2 map-miles N. of Edison Dam on Mono Crk.; lowest saddle on basin rim; in saddle above largest lake.

Collected about one mile from Ward Lake as you go north back to Huntington. ,Elevation: about 7300 feet. Associated species: Pteridium aquilinum, fireweed, Pine drops, grassess.

E. bank of Kings R., 1/2 mile N. of old Cement Bridge on which Anadale Ave. crosses Kings R., 3 miles E. of Sanger. Open gravelly-sandy dry area in river bottom along gravel plant road. No trees.

Just W of Volta on W side on San Joaquin Valley. Volta is 6 miles N.W. of Los Banos on Hwy 152.

Floor Vermillion Val. oppos. E. granite bulge n wall 1/2 m. from E. end about 50' below waterline of reservoir. Valley level (no moraines %his end) gravelly underlain by glacial clay and granite flour deposits mono crk. meanders on s. side.

South side of ridge between Rancheria & Big Cr. arms. of 7000' Huntington Lake - between Hiway 168 and Big Crk. arm. (Huntington Lake Quad., n. cent. sect.), Considerable of this Eriogonum in rocky sunny area below Hiway 168.

Subalpine Forsest, 30 yards southeast of the Lower Granite Lake 10,700 ft. 3 1/2 miles northwest of Mt. Dana (13,050).

In lightly shaded area at side of road, Bear Creel Public Camp Snow Mountain. Population of only a few plants with decidedly pink cast to foliage. Collinsia Greenei, Mimulus tricolor, Iris sp.

Shake Camp; 2 m. n. of Shaver L. on 168 to Big Crk., 1/2 m. down crk. from large mead. at 5550' Music Mt., 6801', 1 1/3 m. w.-sw.; Big Crk. 1 1/2 m. n. at 3400'; in a stranded pothole down crk. where it pitches over a great granite expanse.

On west facing slope 150 yards above Dinkey Creek, 1/4 mile downstream from bridge.

Goodard Cany. (S. Fk. San Joaquin Riv.) just below great open headwaters basin below 11,025' Martha L. & wnw. of 13,568' Mt. Goddard. Very steep wsw. facing slope which breaks up e. wall of canyon just s. of red cliff which rises from 10,400' to 10,800'.

Found along U.S. Highway 6 five miles south of its junction with Highway 178.

Near top of 10,165' hill (3/5 m. ne. of 10,619' Three Sisters) w. of pass between Rock & Cliff Lakes (ne. quarter of Huntington L. quad.). This Eriogonum from sandy slope near top of s-se. corner

1/2 mil. S. of Millwood Flat on forest service rd. to Sequoia Lake-R27E; T13S; Sec. 32, S.E. corner.

Collected along Highway 70, 0.4 miles below Rock Creek Power Dam in the Feather River Canyon.
