Growing in moist edge of bog in shade of Pinus murrayana at Sage Hen Research station (Univ. of Calif.) 14 miles north of Truckee, California.

Several miles above Shipp's ranch. In dry Creek on the Auberry Road.

One mile north of New Idria on New Idria road. Roadside on east side of road.

Lotus Mine, 3-1/2 mi. W. of Myers Ranch, S. fork of Goler Wash drainage, SSE of Manley Peak, Panamint Mts. Main canyon at the base of the alluvium from the draw in which the Lotus Mine is located, about 1/8 mi. n. of the main cabin.

Collected along Fancher Creek on Watts Valley Road, where there are scattered trees along the creek.
