WEST WALL OF GODDARD CANYON (S. FK. SAN JOAQUIN RIV.) ABOVE UPPER (1 E. S.) END OF GREAT ROCKY SALIX MEAD. WHICH OCCUPIES FLOOR OF CANYON FROM 10,000' TO 10,100' WITH RED CLIFFS MAKING UP E. WALL. (BLACKCAP MT. QUAD).

Located along highway 58 eight miles east of Mojave on the Mojave Desert.

0.5 miles east of Moorehouse Fish Hatchery along south side of Tule River. Yellow Pine forest at 4000 feet elevation.

Four miles s.w. of Barstow on Route 66. plant growing roadside in disturbed soil.

In N-S section of Hilgard Branch (tributary to Bear Crk.) 50' below Lake Italy and 1 m. S-E of Mt. Hilgard (13,351').

Floor Vermillion Val. oppos. e. granite bulge n wall 1/2 m from e. end about 50' below water line of reservoir.

Near top 10,650' ice planed granite hill on s. side McGee Pass trial about 3 m. s.w. of 13,163' Red Slate Mt. on Sierran crest.

Pipes Canyon at 6525 ft. 15 miles w. on rough jeeproad from jct. with Lucerne--29 Palms hiway. 1/2 m. short of public campground.

Growing in a wet meadow and adjacent roadside ditch along the Portola Road 1.3 miles north of Sattley in Sierra Valley. Elevation 5000 feet.

Ca. 28 km N-NE of Fresno, on the cliffs on Big Table Mountain; 37 deg. 02' 28 N, 119 deg. 35' 29 W; T 10 S, R 22 E, S 20, SW 1/4 of SE 1/4; 540 m. On shaded S-facing basaltic cliff next to a waterfall.
