Small cienega; above Muir Trail (& not noticeable from trail) where trail crosses a rill n. across small canyon from 10,993' knob nw. of outlet of Evolution Lake (Mt. Goddard Quad.). This sect. of canyon faces out sw. over Evol. Valley 900' below.

Subalpine Forest, Dana Meadow 10000, 1/2 mile east of the Tioga Pass Rager station, 1 3/4 miles west of Mt. Dana (13050).; Plants collected on the bottom of the slope below Mt. Dana at the edge of Dana Meadow .

8250' Prior L., 2 m. directly n. of 10,320' Kaiser Pk., 2 m. sw of Sample Mead. Camp Grd. (sw. quarter Kaiser Pk. Quad.). Lake in large cirque, sidewalls 500 & 650', back wall rises to 9600' outliers of Kaiser Pk.; in moist area at s. end (head) of Lake.

Found growing 1/2 mile west of Kaiser Pass on a west slope

West wall of Goddard Canyon (S. Fk. San Joaquin River) above the upper ( ie. s.) end of great Rock Salix Mead. Which occupies the floor of the canyon from 10,000 to 10,001 with red cliffs making upper walls (Blackcap Mt. Quad.).
