Collected 20 miles north of Amboy on the road to Kelso. At 3,000 feet, in Joshua Tree Woodland vegetation.

about half mile above junction of N. and S. Forks Mono Crk. on Mono Pass Trail.

0.8 mile from Kern County line along State Highway 41 beside a vernal stream. Foothill woodland. Elevation 1900 feet.

Collected along the highway, 1.2 miles north of California city.

Collected at Walkers' Pass on Highway 178. Elevation: 5200 feet. Soil: sandy. In association with Joshua Tree. Gilia minor, Oenothera dentata. Common, especially near Joshua Trees.

Kaiser Pass on extension of Hiway 168-Jeep tracks up ridge to rt. to point where Dave L. trails takes off to rt. -small meadow below trail, 9250'.

Along Mosquito Lake Trail about 1/4 mile abouve Cold Spring Camp in the shade of red fir trees situation and frequently along down log.
