750', s. bank Kings River above Trimmer Springs, nearly opposite mouth of Sycamore Crk. and 1/4 m. up stream from Forest Service suspension bridge. This is the place where a 30-40' rock stands above the rd.

Humphreys Basin, Headwaters Piute Crk., Trig. S. Fk. San Joaquin Riv., W. over Sieran Crest from Bishop, Inyo Co., Mt Humphreys E-NE. 13,986'; lowest spots on rim NE. around E. to SW. 12,400'. A patch of this Carex ca. 1/2 way up steep rocky ravine s-se.

This specimen was collected in Short Canon at the end of Short Canyon Road in a Joshua Tree Woodland Plant Community at 3000 FT. This particular specimen was found on a slope not far from a creek in a sunny location.

Collected 77 miles east of Barstow on U.S. 66, two miles west of road to Joshua tree National Monument.

Located in the Williams Preserve, 4 1/2 miles southeast of Glennville. Found in foothills and in the yellow pine forest at 3500 ft. and in loam soil.

Rd. on S. bank main ditch between Fruit and West Aves. 1/4 m. S. of Santa Fe. R.R., N.W. of Fresno.

Collected on the Southwest corner of James Rd. & highway 180 within Fresno K-rat study area. Found in disturbed organic loam near windmill in Alkali-sink community at an elevation of 170 feet.
