Concrete bridge across Kings River at Piedra. Valley grassland on slopes on N side of River; Foothill woodland on slopes on S side River. The Spergula scarce in gravel at water's edge under the bridge.

Located in Lost Lake Park along the east-facing slope west of the road, near the north end of the lake. Plant community is valley grassland with hard-packed rock and gravelly sand at 325 ft. Associated species are Orhocarpus attenuatus, Lupinus bicolor, F

YMCA camps road around East and North sides of Sequoia Lake, 1/4 mile beyond Camp Millwood toward Camp Tulaquoia. Creek spring fed meets sharp left turn of road.

Collected along Hwy. 180, 100 meters east of the 4701 ft. Benchmark below Yucca Point. (T.13S.,R.28E, S.2) plant comm.: Chaparral. elevation 4700 ft.

This specimen was collected along the 4W.D. road on the east slope of courtright reservoir near dam.

Located in Lost Lake Park along the Nature trail area, close to the river.

Vicinity of 11,880' McGee Pass, l m. s.e. of 13,163' Red Slate Mt., on Sierran crest. Metamorphic area - brite reds, greys, surface ( even on level saddles) covered with flat rocks usually not more than 2 hand size; not a stable base for plants.

Collected just below crest of Kearsarge Pass along trail to Bullfrog Lake, in granite soil. Above tree lines at 11,500 feet.

Collected 8 miles west of Palo Alto, California, on a north 10 slope at an elevation of 1000 feet.

At Hampton House, a ranch, on Sand Creek Rd. 10 mi. n.e. of Orange Cove. Foothill woodland, ca. 1200-1300'. W. facing steep hillside slope on canyon running n.e. s.w. Rather open with surrounding hills to ca. 3500'.
