River bottom area on Fresno County side of San Joaquin River about 1½ miles southwest of Friant where river passes "Lost Lake" (an abandoned borrowing pit)

Collected at Jose Basin Road where it crosses Jose Creek.

Just below eastern end of crest of 3000' Hog Mt. above n. shore of Pine Flat Lake on Kings River.; this Orobanch; on s. side of eastern crest.
