Collected 25 miles northeast of Bakersfield at the end of the road going east from Granite Station. In township 27 south, range 29 east, section 19. Elevation: 2000 feet.

10 miles s. of Alsea on coastal hiway (U.S. 101).

Collected at YMCA Camp Loma Mar north of San Jose, west of Redwood City, 6 miles from La Honda. In a redwood forest plant community. Common, well distributed plant.
