Collected at the Giffen Ranch along Trimmer Springs Road by Kings River. In a cultivated valley grassland. Elevation: 300 feet.

W. side Mono Crk. Canyon, 3/8 m. above e. end Vermillion Val. about 7700', near water line prospective reservoir. S.E. sloping soil pocket 30 sq. yds. sev. ft. below surrounding granite bare soil drying about 45 sps.

Abundant in a roadside ditch 1/4 miles south of the Elmira lateral on the Dixon-Rio Vista road.

Found Hastings Natural History Reservation. Scattered population of ca. 300 plants in open meadow. Elevation 1600ft.

Location: near the crest of Kaiser Ridge. Slope: a steep rocky outcropping, open exposure. Elevation: 9300 feet.

Collected near a logging road as it crosses Jose Creek, 4 miles north of Alder Springs at an elevation of 3100 feet.

At Cedar Pass, elevation 6305 feet, on the north facing slope, sunny, and dry.

Hills at western margin of Panoche Valley. Elevat. about 2000 ft.

E. bank of Kings R. 1/4 miles S. of old Cement Bridge on which Anadale Ave. crosses Kings R., 3 miles E. of Sanger.

Occasional but easily overlooked on the south-central portion of Rowell Meadow. SE1/4 section 8, R30E, T14S. Kings River Drainage, Sequoia National Forest. Elev: 8800 ft.

Growing in crack in rock on U.S. Forest Services Engineer's Camp, Haslett Basin-Bald Mountain.

Collected along Highway 1 about 20 miles north of Morro Bay.

Emerald Bay State Park. Elevation - 6350 feet. Along old access road to Vinkingsholm.

This grass located in disturbed area along trail heading south to Rainbow Falls. Elevation approximately 7560 feet.

Emerald Bay State Park. Elevation - 6235 feet. Several large trees in front of Vikingsholm at head of Emerald Bay. Not as common as P. jeffreyi (in the park).

Small steep draw on south slope of Big Table Mt., NW corner of Auberry Valley, 1 m. w. rd. to Temperance Flat. Elev. 1600'.

N.E. face of 9771 Black Pk., 3/4 m. w-sw of Wes Quall's stock camp cabins, S. Fk. Big Crk., above Huntingtong L. This fern in rocks among lava gravel below 2 uppermost Pines and on lower part of lava cap of Pk.

Collected in the White Mts., on White Mt. Road. Found on rocky slopes at an elevation of 7500 feet.

In a roadside ditch 5.7 miles south of Dixon on the road to Rio Vista.
