Collected 1/2 miles on San Jose-Watsonville Road, from the junction of San Jose-Watsonville Road and Hecker Pass Highway Soil: damp and loamy. It was growing on a hillside.; Associated with Vicia californica, Sisyrinchium bellum, Ranunculus californicus.

Collected at 6480 feet elevation, at intersection of Bodie Road and Highway 31, 9 miles east of Mono Inn.
