On highway 62 S of Greenwich. Go just S of mile post #29. Take road to W ca. .2 miles. Population begins where Elymus cinereus ends. BLM Greenwich Quad (7 1/2 min.)

BLM, Hwy 24 E to Notom Rd., turn S, go S to Sandy Ranch, turn left (E) onto the Henry Mountain Road, go 20 miles to McClellan Springs Junction.

Highway 24 almost to Fremont City. Turn left onto Highway 72. Go through Fremont. Stay on 72 ca. 1.7 mi. to Mill Meadow Reservoir rd. (Good gravel road). Go another 1.3 mi. to a gravel rd. (Silas sp./Mytoge Mtn.) Turn left, go 1.2mi., turn left.

BLM, Hwy 119 to Hwy 24 E, past Bicknell, W on Rt. 143 towards Sunglow Campground, NW through Crescent Canyon to Hemlock Meadow 1/2 mi.

BLM, From Greenwich, go S 3 miles, S of milepost #29 take road going W near Koesharem.

BLM, turn left (E) at Center St in Circleville, go S 0.5 mi to the Fremont ATV Trail. Go S 5 miles to the Chokecherry Creek streambed, go 6.5 mi S. Site at head of Smith Canyon.

BLM, Henry Mountains, Hwy 24 E through Capital Reef Nat. Park, turn R onto Notom Rd, go S to Sandy Ranch, veer left onto Henry Mountain Rd, turn left onto the McClellan Spring road. Go to site.

Highway 29 to Junction, turn L at courthouse on to Highway 153 to Puffer Lake; at beginning of gravel road turn L, go ca. 2.2 mi to switchbacks. Population is obvious on slopes of Highway 153.

BLM, Hwy 89 S of Circleville, ca 1.3 mi to Corral & Birch Cr. Road, go W 0.2 mi, veer left onto jeep trail for ca. 0.2 mi, turn right go 0.4 mi-- steep, rough benches, short hike.

BLM, Hwy 89 to 470 N (Circleville Cemetery Rd), pass cemetery, turn L. Go S follow around corner (corral) W. Before rd turns L, take side rd to right, travel on jeep trail. Veer N, come-up on rise.

On Highway 24, 1 mi. S of Highway 62 to Koosharem & Greenwich. The gravel hills are on the right (W) side of Highway. Look for jeep trail as access route.
