From Kanab, UT, go north on Highway 89. Turn left (west) onto Sand Dunes Road towards Coral Pink Sand Dunes State Park and go 16 miles. Turn right (west) onto dirt road towards the Elephant Cove Trailhead. Population is on both sides of the road.

Interstate 40 W from Flagstaff, exit right onto Deer Farm/Pittman Valley Road, turn left onto Pittman Valley Road, right onto Forest Road 900; population is scattered in sunny spots throughout the woods.

Highway 89 N from Flagstaff, left onto Highway 89A towards Jacob Lake, right onto Forest Road 257, population is on both sides of the road.

From Escalante, UT, go north on Highway 12. Turn left into parking lot for Upper Calf Creek Falls Trailhead. Population is all along the trail and in the surrounding areas.

From Blanding, UT, go south on Highway 163 and turn west onto Highway 95 towards Natural Bridges National Monument. Turn left (south) onto an unmarked dirt road, right before Mule Canyon Indian Ruins.

From Bluff, UT, go west on Highway 163. Turn right (north) onto the dirt road after BLM Road 262. This road is unmarked. The population extends on both sides of Butler Wash.
