From Escalante, UT, go north on Highway 12. Turn left (west) onto unmarked dirt road just past mile marker 66. Population is on both sides of the dirt road.

From Boulder, UT, go east on Burr Trail Road to Deer Creek. Population extends to the south of Burr Trail Road. The population is on the west side of the creek in the sandy sagebrush-dominated areas above the riparian zone.

From Boulder, UT, go east on Burr Trail Road to Deer Creek. Population extends to the north and south of Burr Trail Road in the intermediate zones between the creek slopes and the drier upland areas.

From Moab, UT, go north on Highway 163. Turn right (east) onto BLM Road 144 and then right (south) onto BLM Road 145. Population is on both sides of the road.

Colorado Plateau - Shale Deserts and Sedimentary Basins. Buckhorn Draw. From Price, UT, take US-191 S for 40.7 miles. Turn right (W) on Green River Cutoff Road, continue for 1.5 miles to a sharp right turn to stay on this road, and continue for 27.1 miles

Colorado Plateau-Sand Deserts. E of San Rafael Reef. From Hanksville, head NE on UT-24 E for 19.6 miles. Turn left (W) on Temple Mtn Road/Goblin Vally Road. Travel 0.8 miles to collection site.

Highway 180 N from Flagstaff, turn right onto Forest Road 151, turn right into The Nature Conservancy Hart Prairie Preserve. Population is near entry road inside preserve.

Colorado Plateau- Semiarid Benchlands and Canyonlands. W of Arches Nat. Park, N of Canyonlands Nat. Park. From Moab, take US-191 N for 11 miles. Turn left (W) on UT-313W, continue for 5.8 miles up Seven Mile Canyon to collection site on south side of road

Collected on Antelope Island State Park approximately 2 miles south of the main gate on the east side of the island.

Collected in the mouth of a canyon on the Kimber Ranch at the south end of the Grouse Creek mountains.

Coconino National Forest. Highway 89 N from Flagstaff, turn right onto the S end of Sunset Crater Loop Road (FR 545), right onto FR 244A, go 2.5 mi; area lies S of Haywire Crater.

Coconino National Forest. Highway 89 n from Flagstaff, right onto Townsend-Winona Road, left onto Leupp Road, left onto FR 244 and go 1 mi.

From Flagstaff, AZ, go south on I-17 and turn west on Cornville Road (Road 78) towards Cornville. At intersection of Road 78 and Beaverhead Flat Road go southwest on Road 119A.

Subalpine, dry meadow south-east of Heller Lake, which is bisected by hiking trail. Accessible by Dry Fork Canyon road, then by hiking trail approx. 1.7 miles from trailhead. Ashley National Forest.
