Enter UCSC upper campus reserve from Jack Baskin engineering. Continue path until reaching 2nd left. Take left, walk approximately 300 feet. Specimen will be on the left side.

Enter UCSC upper campus reserve from Jack Baskin engineering. Continue path until reaching 2nd left. Take left, walk approximately 350 feet. Specimen will be on the left side in open area.

Enter UCSC upper campus reserve from Jack Baskin engineering. Continue path until reaching 2nd left. Take left, walk approximately 100 feet. Specimen will be on the left side low to ground.

Enter UCSC upper campus reserve from Jack Baskin engineering. Continue path until reaching 2nd left. Take left, walk approximately 200 feet. Specimen will be on the right side near edge of path.

Enter UCSC upper campus reserve from Jack Baskin engineering. Continue path until reaching 2nd left. Take left, walk approximately 300 feet. Specimen will be on the left and right sides in open area.

Starting above jack baskin engineering on UCSC campus, take north from upper campus reserve entrance. Walk up path and take second left. Continue about 300 feet and specimen will be on right.

Go down near the edge of McAllister way until you see a fence on the right, enter the gate and follow the path approximately 2 meters upon entering where a large bush of the specimen should be located.

Head down McAllister Way and make a right when coming upon metal fence. Enter through the gate and the specimen should be no more than 1 meter away on the left.

Head down McAllister way and make right at large metal fence and enter through gate. Walk along path and make either right or left, species is abundant about mid-level on both paths and is even more abundant away from the trails edge.

Head all the way down McAllister way and go right of large fence. Enter through gate and onto the path where specimen is abundant on both sides of trail as you walk along. Most abundant and undisturbed further down trail in large bushes to the left.

Head down McAllister way and go to the right when coming upon fence. Enter through gate and walk along path and make a left at the furthest split. Near the edges of the trail the specimen should be abundant.

At the end of Heller Drive. Take the path to the right with the barbwire fence. It is about 50m down and take the right at the fork

Head down McAllister Way and head right into the path to the right where the fence is. Species should be a few meters down path and low to the ground with no close neighboring species.

Leaves: margins serrate, simple, petioles small, shape lanceolate, apex acute, base obovate, venation ribbed Habit: erect, shrub, spreading branches reaching height of up to around 8.2ft, flowers: terminal, urn-shaped bristly, glandular, oozing sticky oil

on SW side of gulch between Heller Dr. and Steinhart Way. Off to right approx 150 meters down train across from Thimann Labs loading doc
