Río Cayapa, Zapallo Grande. Río Zapallo Grande (tributary of Río Cayapa) was followed 1 km. upriver. From the left bank a trail was followed 2.5 hours walking. The trail led to a ridge. Upland rain forest.

Reserva Faunistica Cuyabeno, north of Laguna Grande. Terra firme, tropical rain forest.

Along drinkwater-canal on W-side of Atacazo, c. 5 km S of Camparmento.

Road La Toma - Loja, c. km 10. Xerophytic thicket.

Road Tulcán - Maldonado, W of the pass (base of Volcán Chiles). Narrow ravine in Espeletia páramo, with dense scrub and small trees.

San Miguel de Porotos, Jatunbamba and La Conuma, SE of Azogues. Remnants of Podocarpus - Oreocallis scrub.
