Howarth Park, Santa Rosa. Just south of path between Lake Ralphine and Spring Lake. Oak woodland with Quercus kelloggii, Q. agrifolia, Q. garryana, Umbellularia and Arbutus, understory of native bunch grasses. Growing in hollows between grass tussocks in

Syline Ridge Open Space Preserve, near Horseshoe Lake. Matrix of annual grassland, Baccharis scrub and mixed evergreen woodland of Pseudotsuga, Arbutus and Quercus chrysolepis.

Russian Ridge Open Space, along Charquin Trail. Mosaic of mixed evergreen forest with Pseudotsuga, Arbutus, Quercus chrysolepis, Q. agrifolia and Umbellularia interspersed with annual grassland.
