Western Brooks Range, Alaska.

Wood stem collected from gravel in a barrow pit on the Kuparuk River. Specimen estimated to have come from a depth of “60 to 100 ft.” The gravel pit is part of the Prudhoe Bay Oil Field development.

The specimen was collected as float on a beach located 1.5km south of "Pachy Point," and 4.2km south of Trangulation Station A. This locality is known as "Clam Beach."

Collected at Sutton, AK (probabaly came from a nearby quarry.

Tuff samples collected from basal 8cm. Sample includes dark purple organic shale and plant debris. Root casts present in tuff. Base of tuff shows what appears to be relief and channels. This locality is approximately 1 km south of “Pachy Point.”
