These were a gift to Dr. Allison from Dr. Shoji of Fujii, Japan in 1976. This collection consists of gastropods from Japan and represent the Miocene, Pliocene, and recent epochs. There is a small map with the fossil locations represented.

SE 1/4, T8N, T6W. Greenstone, cut along pipeline pad above Livengood-Manley road on about the 1000 foot contour on line between R6W and R5W. Rock body fractured, with red bands and variety of appearances. Random samples collected for microfossil search.

Cut bank east of state road and 100 yards south of Marion Creek. This is about 7 miles south of Wiseman, southern rooks Range.
