Growing on south side of dam and east side of Lake Floyd, below the dam, about 2.7 mile directly east of Salem and south of US Route 50. Elevation 1063 feet.

About 5 mile north of junction 50 & 72 on Route 72, in woods on west side of Route 72. North of Rowlesburg and 0.5 mile north of Tray Run. Elevation 2400 feet. Lichen appeared mineral gray. Growing in woods on east-facing slope.

Lesin Run, north of camping area, Lewis Wetzel Public Hunting and Fishing Area. About 50 yards up Lesin Run on west side of stream in botom land.
