In drainage area where intermittent stream enters floodplain on north side of Beaverdam Creek. Site #100, immediately south of Seaboard Air Line Railroad; about one mile west of Savannah River.

On soil on sides of rotted-out stumphold. On southwest-facing hillside that has been clear-cut within the last 2 years. Located just east of Toxaway Creek and about one mile south of County Road 88.

OCONEE County: Hill property, Mountain Rest, NW side Old Rocky Gap Road. West side of West Village Creek. Elev. ca. 1700 ft. Prostrate leafy hepatic on moist roadbank clay, pale green. Stem tips elongated, thin. Under Kalmia latifolia.

In floodplain of Savannah River; Cove between Sites #5 and #18.
