Benton Co., OR: At Alsea Falls on the South Fork of the Alsea River, about 4 airline miles west of Glenbrook; Tl4S, R7W, Sec. 25. On a large boulder along the river, in a riparian zone dominated by Alnus, Acer, Rubus; with Scapania.

Growing along southeastern border of Sister Lake, a large Carolina bay on the northwestern border of Barnwell County, about 0.5 miles south of the junction of US 78 and SC 781 highways.
