On north-facing, peaty bank along stream that flows into Toxaway Creek. Under Rhododendron maximum. Overstory consists of Tsuga canadensis, Fagus grandifolia, and Pinus virginiana. Located 1 1/2 miles north of junction of County Roads 88 and 89, about 7 m

On bark; on trunk of Carpinus caroliniana (8-inch dbh) to height of 3 1/2 ft on northwest side. Site #3, along intermittent stream flowing into the Savannah River; just south of the Ga. Highway 72 bridge over the Savannah River. Below the 475-ft. contour.

Growing with Frullania inflata Gottsche. On base of Ligustrum sinense (5-inch diameter), surrounded by thick growth of Leucothoe sp. and Lonicera japonica. In swamp located about one mile north of U.S. 1, between Camden, S.C., and Wateree River.

On bank of intermittent stream flowing north into Allen Creek; Site #30; about 3/4 mile east of the Savannah River; about 3-3/4 miles southwest of town of Lowndesville, S.C.

Submerged aquatic growing on dark rock in cold stream; NW facing slope ca 1.7 mi downstream from Blackwell Bridge on SE slope across from Sec Rd. 764 Compt. #30.

OCONEE County: Hill property, Mountain Rest, NW side Old Rocky Gap Road. West side of West Village Creek. Elev. ca. 1700 ft. Prostrate leafy hepatic on moist roadbank clay, pale green. Sporangia green, globose, in bracts, immature.

Overlooking Chauga River just south of Ramsey Creek. In Chau Ram County Park, located about 3 miles northwest of Westminster, S.C. On south side of U.S. 76.

Southwest of S.C. 28 BUS., between Eighteen Mile Creek and railroad overpass west of Pendleton, S.C.

On east-facing slope overlooking small creek; Private Property south of County Road 88, between County Road 89 and Toxaway Creek; About 6 miles due west of Westminster’s, SC.

Just north of the junction of SC highway 11 and secondary road 183, about 20 miles north of Clemson, S.C.

Occurring as small patch near edge of wet rock surface on steep, east-facing hillside. Under Symplocos tinctoria, Fagus grandifolia, and Tsuga canadensis. Located 1 1/2 miles north of junction of County Roads 88 and 89, about 7 miles west of Westminster,

Wets side of Wilson Creek, which flows into the Rocky River. Site #143; about 2-3/4 miles north of junction of S.C. 81 and S.C. 71 on east side of town of Lowndesville, S.C.

On bank of Oconee Creek; On east side of S.C. 11 at turn-off to abandoned grist mill. One ground mile north of jct. of Sec. Rd. 95 with S.C. 11. Ca. 5.5 miles due north of town of Walhalla.

On bark of rotting log; on terrace along south side of Deal Creek; sheltered by steep, mesic, north-facing slope. Site #25 (Lat. 34 10'50"; Long. 82 41'30"), about 2 miles east of the Savannah River; about 2 1/2 miles southwest of town of Lowndesville, S.
