City of Poway along Espola Rd just south of the intersection of Twin Peaks Rd and Espola Rd. on the west side of Espola.

Warner Springs area. Collection area on the Pacific Crest Trail as it parallels coast life oak/riparian section of trail. Trail access is 0.05 mi southwest of Warner Springs fire station.

Ranchita/Warner Springs area. Collection area on the Pacific Crest Trail west of Ranchita. Access to the PCT is on Montezuma Valley Rd 1 mile southeast of the intersection of San Felipe Rd and Montezuma Valley Rd.

Calavera Lake, Carlsbad, Calif. This is an urban lake with the center of interest being an ancient volcano plug. Trail entrance nearst to the dam is off Sky Haven Ln. Street parking.
