Bigwoods, Greenwood Plantation adjoining city limits of Thomasville along Boulevard between US 84 and railraod. Annually burned pineland mostly longleaf. Poorly drained situations. Along branch at buggy crossing.

Specimen from small tree with a densely branched ovate crown. Numerous trees of this kind in Lehigh Acres subdivision, Tallahassee, apparetnly planted by developer of the subdivision in the late 1960s.
