Plants in wet sand, clumped, the clumps virually in a row just at forest road edge and next to edge of wet pine flatwoods, by forest road 180 1.4 mile W of its junction with Fla. Rd 65 and SW of Wilma, Apalachicola National Forest.

Very abundant in a broad band entirely around a small karst pond, by Fla. Rt. 20, W of its crossing of U.S. Rt. 231. Plants on shore with ascending stiffish leaves and scapes; those in water with very flaccid leaves and scapes.
