Big Woods, Greenwood Plantation, adjoining city limits of Thomasville along Boulevard between U.S. 84 and railroad. Annualy burned pineland, mostly longleaf. Well drained upland. Frequent.

Infrequent, longleaf pine-scrub oak sand ridge, Apalachicola National Forest, by Springhill Road, 1.5 miles S of entrance to Trout Pond Recreation Area.

Big Woods, Greenwood Plantation, adjoining city limits of Thomasville along Boulevard between US 84 and railroad. Annually burned pineland, mostly longleaf. Disturbed areas. Small tree in quail covet. Occurs mostly as fire-pruned sprouts.
