Annual, 1 m tall. In sandy soil with crumbled marl or some such, open weedy area between highway (U.S. Rt. 27) and railroad, 4.2 miles SE of Ft. White.

plants to 2 m tall; corollas pale lavender. Locally abundant on raodside banks at Capital Circle at crossing of I-10, N of Tallahassee.

3 miles SE of Cairo, roadsie ditch on stream floodplain.

In wet wiregrass flatwoods ca 0.7 mi NE of jct CR 30A and a dirt road heading N off 30A, 0.3 mi E of entrance road to Grayton Beach State Park. Large clumps in ecotone between slash pine/gallberry and wet wiregrass area. None flowering.

Locally frequent, savanna, 1 mi. W of Satilla Creek by Ga Rt 252 between Tarboro and Folkston.

Abundant in local boggy places on slopes and in lfats. Longleaf pine forest, rolling terrain, "Wade Tract" of Tall Timbers Research station

junction of Betlinet Dr and East Betlinet Dr in SE sec of Quincy. Roadside (shoulder) bordering a rich mesic hardwood ravine. Associates: Morus alba, Toxicodendron radicans, Hyptis mutabilis, Lingustrum sinense, Prunus serotina, and others.

floodplain woodland, Ochlockonee River, by public use area, at Old Bainbridge Road. Disc flowers brownish in the bud, yellow at full anthesis.

Near State Highway 187, approx. 2 mi. E of Suwannoochee Creek, Clinch Co., GA. At border of woods including pines and mixed, shrubby undergrowth.

Medium sized tree. Sand pine oak hammock, by access road to Alligator Point from U.S. Rt. 98. All cones of current season open, others closed on same tree.

Submersed except inflorecences; very abundant, Cypress Pond area of Lake Seminole

Mt bethel campground on US 41, 3.8 mi N of railroad station in Ashburn. Dry soil near top of slope with outcrops of the "rock phase" of Dr Roland Harper's Altamaha Grit which was observed to be prevelent in the area. Flwers of this taxon very conspicuous.
