Mt bethel campground on US 41, 3.8 mi N of railroad station in Ashburn. Dry soil near top of slope with outcrops of the "rock phase" of Dr Roland Harper's Altamaha Grit which was observed to be prevelent in the area. Flwers of this taxon very conspicuous.
