Collected roadside in a small unmanaged feild adjacent to a corn feild. Plants were rooted in a gravely substrate.

Found in the middle of the power line-cut, directly beneath the power lines, 25 ft. WSW of the two large utility poles that mark the bend in the power lines. Found growing amongst Phytolacca americana and Persicaria perfoliata.

Collected approximately 5 feet from the old railroad bed trail. The plant was vining through a tree with the use of tendrils.

Collected in a marshy mud hole uninhabited by other plants except Jack in the Pulpit.

Collected adjacent a small stream, surrounding a large oak tree. Many plants coated the ground in this location.

Found along a flat, open area at the top of the hill in the power line-cut, approx. 40ft. ESE of the two large utility poles at the bend in the power lines. C. mas was growing amoungst large Solidago species.
