Occurring on a burm just off the Safe Harbor Nature Study path near the head of the path that eventually parallels the eastern margin of the pond, located closer to the stream, NE of the swampy/muddy area.

Species observed only in the southeastern extent of the pond, at the end of the path that parallels the eastern margin of the pond where it leads out into the open grassy area. Plants found in wet ground on near the edge of the tree line.

The flower was found along the creek on the wild grown outskirts of the park about 20 meters from the road.
