In waterlogged soil consisting of primarily decomposing organic matter, jutting into small, mid-forest pond which borders the southern trail. Approximately 200 m East and 125 m South of furthest-east house in Safe Harbor Village.

Upper Bear Island. Common in a dry ephemeral pool, occurring with Sphagnum and Iris pseudacorus.
